Mannen-ya foreign guest

Outside you'll see many pairs of colorful overalls, exotically but practically designed workpants and shirts hanging while packed insde is an assortment of various workwears.

Foreign designers, toursits, and media seem to think them cool: macho, yet refreshingly exotic. People from trading companies, embassies, film actors and actresses, dancers... the backgrounds of our customers vary a lot.

Tokyo City Hall

Walk past Tokyo City Hall from Shinjuku Station and you'll come across a large sign bearing the shop's name.

The items of MannenYa are not exactly high fashion but basic blue collar gears.

However, that's exactly what draws the likes of fashion designers like Jean-Paul Gaultier, Walter Van Beirendonck, and Agnes b. .
